Sweet Riesling from the Abtsberg single vineyard of the centuries-old former Benedictine monastery of Maximin Grünhaus on the outskirts of Mertesdorf on the Ruwer tributary of the Mosel.
Auslese is a semi-sweet or sweet style of German wine, made from individually-selected bunches of very ripe grapes based on their ripeness level and sugar content.
